Spotify finally launches in Japan

Services like Netflix and Spotify have been slow to launch in Japan. I guess this is because of the reluctance of the media industry to talk to foreign partners. Unlike the electronics industry of the old days, Japanese companies of the present seem to be stuck in the comfort zone of the local market. Anime and games are slightly better, though.
